Well this post is about Capri. What is Capri? Where is Capri?

Huh? Hey wait that's the wrong Capri. No I don't mean this Capri. I mean the one at Sri Petaling.

Well yes a lot of difference, I mean, between the Capri Island and the one I'm going to blog about now. Because what I'm about to show you guys, are just photos of food I took at Capri Cafe, Sri Petaling. No Island photos, sorry!

Longan Milk

This drink tastes and feels like ice-cream. I like it, not too sweet.

IMG_3009
Chicken Chop with Spaghetti

HugoLim's order, not sure how it taste like, but apparently the noodle felt thick. Hmmm...

IMG_3011
Braised Pork with Yam in Clay-pot

HungWei's order, I'm not much of a yam person, so... I don't know.

IMG_3013
Onion & Ginger Fried Beef with Rice

Nothing special, but it was OK. The nice thing about this one is the sauce.

IMG_3014
Crepe Durian Pancake

Not exactly a pancake. More like ice-cream. But this one is special. Every part of this bite, is so full of durian flavor. If you're a durian lover, you will love this dessert. I'm not a big fan of durian, but when I ate this, I felt like I was in durian paradise.......

Want a bite?

Guys, anytime you want to go for food outing, please let me know. I am definitely joining!

I was invited?

I will be away for the weekend, so I won't be able to update until Monday!

Anyway, I got free ticket for the Special Screening of Rambo 4: John Rambo.
What can I say about the movie? A lot of blood! To Hell And Back is just about the right way to explain the movie.

IMG_3020
Biggest ticket I've seen so far.

Sorry about the short update.
Next one will be on some food.

A Red Day~

Went to ShoutOut's Karaoke Gathering at Red Box, The Curve. Well, I'm using a lot of HugoLim's photos, so you'll see his blog link on the photos. Why? Because he didn't send me, and he took most of the photos since he's got a DSLR camera. (What is DSLR? Hmmm.. Digital Shoot Like Real? lol~)

So, photos!

I hope this lot of photos won't slow my blog down. Those are most of the group photos we took in the room, thanks to HugoLim, again.

This photo was taken by Daniel. So bright can!

Well, after the karaoke session, we went on to look for something to eat. It wasn't lunch time, but most of us were hungry, and somehow, Red Box's food is just not that good. So, where did we eat? To Station Kopitiam, we went.

IMG_2805
Beef Fried Rice

I'm sure by looking at it, you can tell that it's tasteless. Well yes it is rather tasteless. This time, the food photos won't make you feel hungry, I think. Anyway, I should have eaten at Red Box. Next.

Capalang-ish Saturday

I attended a bloggers' gathering, organized by AMBP - All Malaysian Bloggers' Project - on the 12th of January, Saturday. It was more fun than I expected. Got to meet up with many new faces, and there were cameras everywhere!

IMG_2680
Coffee? Chocolate?

Everyone got free drinks, and there were lucky-draw sessions. Many people, and I got to know only a few. But I think I will see them a lot more in the future.

Ricky, Sammy and Angeline

Sammy, a new face to me, a blogger too. I think that's some Yoga pose.

Well the whole gathering was all about taking photos, and posing. And we were the most active bunch, modeling and taking photos. Unbelievable.

And then, the gathering ended with a lot of big group photo, but I don't have any to post in here. So continuing, I wanted to have lunch with the group, but couldn't, since I was joining HungWei and Eugene for movie - Game Plan - and it was almost time. We left the group and ate simple lunch at McDonalds, met up with Hiew and his girlfriend, then proceeded to the cinema.

After the show, walked around and went to eat dinner with HungWei and Eugene. Also Eri and Fattien, who joined in for the dinner.

IMG_2737

I don't remember the name of the restaurant. Dang, I always forget. Anyway, it's at Sri Petaling. Easy to find, and there are restaurants everywhere around that area.

Next, photos of the food we had.

IMG_2741
Sizzling Bean Curd with Egg

I like Tofu and egg, I like this dish a lot.

IMG_2743
Qing Chao Yau Choi

That's the Cantonese way of calling the dish. I don't know what's it called in English. I think I ate the most of this dish. Very nice vegetable. Hahaha~

IMG_2745
Chicken in Herbal Soup

This dish was Oh-My-God nice! The soup was so good, I think I could finish the whole pot. Chicken's texture was really nice too.

IMG_2747
Asam Fish

I like this dish a lot too. Very nice! Thinking about all these food, makes me hungry can! I will bring my whole big family there to try out more food, someday.

Aaron @ Alpha

Went to Mid Valley on Friday. Met up with HungWei, and our main purpose, was to check out the Sony Alpha Roadshow. And I unexpectedly, bumped into Ricky, and so he tagged along. Well, before anything happened, we went to eat, since it was lunch time.

Ate at some noodle house, I forgot what's the shop called.

Food! Food!

I'm back! Yes I am. Sorry for not updating for a long long time. Have been working on a song, maybe I'll record the play and post it up here when I'm done with it. Anyway, this post, is about food! I've been to Ipoh and Penang, I think you already know. So I'll post up photos of food that I've tried throughout the trip. Photos that I've posted before, I won't post again.

OK, photos!

IMG_2092
Ipoh - Chicken Rice

Yeah well, this Chicken Rice is very famous, Onn Kee if not mistaken. But in my opinion, it's just so-so. A lot of sesame oil and pepper. And errr, no photos of rice.

IMG_2093
Ipoh - Bean Sprout

This one came with the Chicken Rice set. The whole combination is the famous thing. The taste, is just like the chicken. Sesame oil and pepper.

IMG_2094
Ipoh - Pork Balls

The soup was good, but the pork balls, a little too hard. Overall, this Bean Sprout Chicken Rice and Hor Fun shop, is not bad.

I also tried dessert at Ipoh, at a different place. I forgot the name of the street though.

IMG_2356
Ipoh - Green-Coconutty Balls??

I don't know what's it called, but it's nice. A little too sweet though. One thing I like about this, however, is that when you bite it, the thing bursts like a small explosion inside of your mouth. Nice!

IMG_2360
Ipoh - Yam Cake

This one is very very nice. The only yam I eat is yam cake, and I've not eaten any yam cake since many many years ago. This is really good.

And now, stuff I had when I was at Penang.

IMG_2157
Penang - Crispy Fishy Thingy

Uh, OK first off, this one was taken at Manila Place, Gurney Plaza. And errr, I don't know what's it called, but it's very crispy and the inside tasted like fish, or prawn? Hmmm...

IMG_2158
Penang - Unagi Rice

I suppose it's eel. I don't normally eat eel, but this Unagi Rice is not bad. Still Manila Place, Gurney Plaza.

IMG_2164
Penang - Chocolate Ice Cream

Came with the Unagi Rice set. Not bad. Sweet stuff.

And then, Banana Leaf Cuisine at New World Park - Passions of Woolala! I mean, Passions of Kerala.

IMG_2224
Penang - Banana Leaf Cuisine

We had Deep Fried Fish, Mutton Curry, Chicken Curry and a little bit of everything else. A very nice meal.

And the last photo in this post, I have no idea where this is. But it was so crowded, we had to wait for the table, and the food took forever to arrive.

IMG_2393
Penang - Roast Pork?

Well, we had "Char Siew", "Siew Yoke" and Roast Duck. The duck was normal, "Siew Yoke" was nice, and the "Char Siew" was the best I've tasted so far!

OK, that's it!
I'm hoping to try out more food around Malaysia. Anyone wanna go anywhere?
