Photo Sharing, Again?

I'm having my semester break now, but even during semester break I have tonnes of work to do. Of course, I have to work on my photo shooting styles too. Learning a lot, thanks to all the photo-shoot trips.

Here are more photos. Random shots, first attempt at lightning shots (which was more difficult than I thought), and a group photo.

Still Shouting at Genting

College started, and I'm going to college to study, and like any other students, I'm busy with assignments. Of course, first week is still fine. But I don't have enough time for everything, so updates were being delayed.

Continuing, this round, more photos on Shouters at Genting Highland.

I still suck in portraiture. Maybe I should find a model and experiment with thousands of shots before I actually learn something. Also, I need an external flash unit.

Firewire suddenly became quiet. I suppose he was thinking about something, or rather, someone?

So deeply in thoughts, must be someone special.

Nice expression on Firewire's face. I tried imitating, but failed.

Somehow, Firewire became the spotlight in this post.

A Happy Ending?

The General Election 2008 ended, and the results were rather surprising. A happy ending? Or Not? However, as much as I would like to discuss about the matter, I shouldn't. After all, this blog is not about politics.

So, about this update... It seems the Semenyih Trip post is taking too long to finish. So I've decided that this will be the final post on the Semenyih Trip. Yeah, the end.

I find this tree rather special. There is another plant climbing up its trunk. Plants are always competing for food, water and sunlight. Roots dig deep, trunks grow tall. lol~

Next, waterfalls. I'm not really good at shooting waterfalls, plus I don't have a tripod, and I'm too lazy to use Eugene's tripod. So, the longest I could do was one to two second exposure time.


Does the water look like it's really cold? Yes? No? Compare these with the one below.


Do you see the difference? This shot was taken with a shorter exposure time. Ah well, I'm sure that you'd understand. If you don't anyway, I hope you enjoy the photos.

The trip was fun, I learned and experienced a lot, much thanks to these guys. After all, it was only my first, true photo-shoot session with a DSLR-camera. I'm looking forward to more photo-shoot sessions! More! More!! I want MORE!!!

A Red Day~

Went to ShoutOut's Karaoke Gathering at Red Box, The Curve. Well, I'm using a lot of HugoLim's photos, so you'll see his blog link on the photos. Why? Because he didn't send me, and he took most of the photos since he's got a DSLR camera. (What is DSLR? Hmmm.. Digital Shoot Like Real? lol~)

Well, after the karaoke session, we went on to look for something to eat. It wasn't lunch time, but most of us were hungry, and somehow, Red Box's food is just not that good. So, where did we eat? To Station Kopitiam, we went.

I'm sure by looking at it, you can tell that it's tasteless. Well yes it is rather tasteless. This time, the food photos won't make you feel hungry, I think. Anyway, I should have eaten at Red Box. Next.

Penang, The End

Last of Penang trip! Very slow updates, I know. I've been busy traveling. Anyway, this post mainly photos. Well, begin!

First thing in the morning!
Yes, went to a food place for breakfast, don't remember the name of the place. Took photos around before food arrived. And once the food is in front of us, we didn't eat immediately. We are bloggers alright, we took photos.

And then we headed to a Temple, just across the street.


The Temple was crowded.
We took a lot of photos of people releasing birds, mine wasn't taken from a good angle, so, many shots appeared rather confusing. Therefore, I'm not going to post them up.

After that, we headed back to Ahlok's place to prepare for dinner with Shouters. Of course, we didn't go directly to the dinner place, we did more photo-shooting first. But I don't think I'm going to post up those shots, too many photos in this post already.

And then dinner at "Big Tree Leg". That's direct translation from Chinese. It really means Under The Tree. So, Under The Tree Restaurant?

And then we had to run to the Ferry and Train Station, because we were late. We feared that we might lose the train. But the train was late! So, we took photos, again.
