Off To Malacca
My parents are now home, having a break from their work in Papua New Guinea. This time instead of hanging around at home, they want to go somewhere and spend some family fun time with my sister and I. So yes, we are going to Malacca, and coming back on Wednesday.

The Target
I've decided to update my blog at least once a week. Therefore I'm going to need a lot of blogging material. I can't update my blog on a daily basis. And I wonder how some people actually manage to do that. Where do they get all their blog-stuff from? It's probably the lifestyle. Meeting people every day, attending events every weekend, and what not. See, my blog is mainly about photos and well, traveling experiences. So, no travel or photo-shoot, means no blogging material. I've been offered quite a few opportunities, but well...... I guess it's not my time yet. How regrettable.
Next thing I'm going to do, get myself a diving license, equip myself with a waterproof camera, and explore a world, where most mysteries lie deep and waiting to be discovered - underwater photography, just wait!
But anyway, I'm going to post up a pic just for fun.
So, do you know where this is?

Woolala Really Returns
Whoa! Stopped blogging for more than a month. Actually I've been thinking about getting my own dot com blog. Hmm.... Never mind that for now.
Anyway this is just a short post, just to get me moving again.
A pug. Fat dog!
I need good food. Lately, the food served at home are rather strange. Since my grandma is sick and cannot cook like she used to, my grandaunt took over the cooking, and together with the hired cook, they prepare our meals. Sometimes it's OK, sometimes it's sooooooo not OK. Ever tried chewing fried chicken like rubber? Hurts my teeth and throat, especially now with braces, nightmare!

To Langkawi, I go
Had a rather busy week doing stuff at home. Tired and stressed out. Haven't prepare the next Runway 101 post yet, it will have to wait until I come back from my next trip.
I won't be around from 18 - 20 June, going to spend a few days photo-shooting in Langkawi. Will come back with more photos, blog material. :D
Thank you for reading!
Oh, and the photo on the right is not mine. I only borrowed it. Go click on it! :D

Runway 101, HELP Uni-Coll
Here it is, the first part of Runway 101. Took place in HELP University College on 5th June 2009 (Friday). Pretty interesting. Much thanks to Dennis and Satkuru for the opportunity. Looking forward to shooting more of these events.
A few photos I shot before the event started.
Some double checking on the stage settings.
And the band doing a little rehearsal before the real thing.
Oh and of course the models.
Going to post up more photos in the next one.
The entire event, I didn't use telephoto lens at all. I left the close-up shots to Daniel. So you can check at his blog when he's updated.

To the Runway
Coming up next!
I didn't design this banner, just added a lot of contrast to the banner I shot. Was one of the official photographer for the event. It was quite difficult because the of lighting, but this won't be too big of a problem after I upgrade my gear.
I'm still trying to sell my camera off, and buy something new. It's quite difficult, since I'm trying to sell everything off - lenses, flash, battery grip, probably giving away the survival kit to whoever buys the stuff as well. Jumping ship is a headache. lol~

Waterfront, Kota Kinabalu
Kota Kinabalu waterfront, a hot-spot, most lively during the evening until midnight. This is probably where all the clubbing people hang out. But I didn't go there to club, so like usual, the gang took out the cameras and started shooting at anything and everything.
More adventures coming my way, I'm so excited. :D

Welcome To Sabah
I figured there's nothing left to blog about MDG Season 2 Finale, so I'll be blogging about my trips again. I don't want to keep posting photos of ruins, so I'll be continuing with Cambodia only after I finish this one.
I'll cut the long story short.
I traveled to Kota Kinabalu on the 1st of May 2009 by flight. Arrived at Terminal 2, took a taxi to Terminal 1 to meet up with the rest of the gang. Took another taxi to the hotel for that night, checked in, then left the room to venture around for a bit, and to get some dinner. The town, at night, is a pretty scary place. lol~
We checked out on the following day to transfer to another hotel, and to meet up with the bigger part of the gang. More walking, food, then it was time for our boat ride.
Off to Manukan Island.
It's a pretty OK place, if not for the crowd. Seriously, to get from one spot to another, you have to walk in a line. Freaking traffic congestion.
Photos, photos, photos~
We did not play in the sea, spent most of our time shooting photos. And since there was nothing much to do, we called our boat and headed back to town for more food, and more shooting as we were walking back to the hotel.
I suppose most Shouters know who this is already :D
And we waited for the sunset, but later in the evening the weather turned crappy, the sun was blocked by clouds. Everything was covered in plain boring blue, no sun rays, no horizon.
After I returned from the trip, I learned from a friend of mine who stays in Sabah, that the first week of May this year, is a lousy time to go to Sabah. *slaps forehead*
Nevertheless, a good experience. And dang, I miss the beach.

Jumping Ship
A short weekend update. Really short one. Only four pics, to make you feel hungry. :D
Oh and a little something at the end that explains the title.
It's been a long time since I last went food hunting. Saving up some money for trips and camera upgrade. In fact, I'm going to change camera brand. Going to buy Nikon. So, I'm going to sell my Sony Alpha gear. Anyone wanna buy? :D

Malaysian Dream Girl Season 2 Finale
Before I continue with more Cambodia story, I'll post something different, something quite new.
The Malaysian Dream Girl Season 2 Finale at The Curve on 15th of May 2009 (Friday). Had a great time, shooting photos, laughing at weird jokes.
Anyway, here are photos of the event that I shot.
The entire event, I was shooting from this angle. Pretty difficult to get nice shots, because the background is the shopping mall.
Ming.
She blogs too. Here's the link.
Pinky
She's the first runner-up in MDG season 2.
I'm not sure if she blogs. lol~
Natasha, who won the most ferocious attack award. :D
Farah, looked at my camera. Alriiiight~ But the background. Tsk tsk~
Pinky and Juanita.
I wonder why I could not get any nice shots of Dawn.
In case you did not know, Dawn is the second runner-up in MDG season 2. And she blogs. lol~
